The Local Food Guide is a project of Nourish Knoxville,

Inc., with funding and support provided by PlanET: A

Regional Partnership of East Tennessee Counties. This

guide is the first step in reaching our goal of creating

a comprehensive resource enabling our region’s

farmers and food producers to directly connect with

customers and community members to discover fresh,

locally grown food sources. The guide you have in your

hands is the starting point, a draft guide to reach out to

additional farms, food producers, wineries, restaurants,

and grocers in our region. With your help, we can create

a regional food guide that will grow for years to come.

Our first edition of the print guide will be released to the

public in early summer 2014, with a new edition released

each year. We will also maintain an online version that

can be updated at any time. If you or someone you know

should be in the guide, please send them our way. We

look forward to working with you!

ABOUT NOURISH KNOXVILLENourish Knoxville, Inc. is a Knoxville-based not-for-
