ABOUT THE GUIDEThe East Tennessee Local Food Guide is a project of Nourish Knoxville, Inc., with funding and support provided by PlanET: A Regional Partnership of East Tennessee Counties. The guide’s purpose is to provide you with a comprehensive resource for finding fresh, locally grown food in our community. Our region teems with so many opportunities to connect with the land and your food, but we understand it can be difficult to know where to begin. We hope this guide helps you find new sources for locally grown food, visit the places where your food is grown, and discover more ways to incorporate locally grown food into your daily life. This guide will expand each year as we identify additional farmers, producers, grocers, and restaurants seeking to connect with consumers in our region. By choosing food from these local farms and producers, you’ll be preserving jobs, farmland, landscapes, and heritage. So get out there and ask, “What’s local today?”

ABOUT NOURISH KNOXVILLENourish Knoxville, Inc. is a Knoxville-based not-for-profit corporation working in the East Tennessee region to cultivate and support relationships between farmers, artisanal producers, and the community through outreach, education, and advocacy and to build healthy communities through connections to local food. Projects include the Market Square Farmers’ Market, Market Square Holiday Market, and Winter Market at Southern Station. For information, please visit NourishKnoxville.org.
