“I got to know amazing professors at Colby-Sawyer. They were great at engaging students and more than willing to talk whenever I needed one-on-one guidance.
As a senior, I was one of 500 candidates nationwide who applied to be a nurse at University of Colorado Hospital. Only 40 were offered positions, and I was one of them.
Because of Colby-Sawyer’s liberal arts program, I can relate to other people and professions. I am better able to identify with my patients and to treat the whole person, not just their illness. Colby-Sawyer was 100 percent the right choice for me.”— Julie Cookish ’11 RN in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at University of Colorado Hospital
