Reaching Murfreesboro

From Memphis, take I-40 to I-440, then I-24 east to Murfreesboro.

From Nashville, take I-24 east to Murfreesboro.

From the south or southwest (Columbia/Franklin/Birmingham, Ala.), travel I-65 to TN-840 then I-24 East to Murfreesboro.

From Chattanooga, travel I-24 West to Murfreesboro.

From Knoxville, take I-40 West to TN-840. Take Exit 53 and I-24 East to Murfreesboro.

Approaching Campus

The Middle Tennessee campus is about four miles from Exit 80 (TN-99/New Salem Highway) and Exit 81 (US-231/Church Street).

Via New Salem Highway

Take I-24 Exit 80 and turn north on New Salem Highway (TN-99). Turn right at the first traffic light onto Middle Tennessee Blvd. Campus will be 3.2 miles ahead on your right. For public event parking, turn right onto Mercury Boulevard before reaching campus and then make a left onto Rutherford Boulevard. Large parking areas are located near the Campus East en-trance at MTSU Blvd.

Via US-231/South Church Street

Take I-24 Exit 81 to US-231 North. Turn right at the second traffic light onto Middle Tennessee Blvd. Campus will be two miles ahead on your right. For public event parking, turn right at the first traffic light from US-231 onto Rutherford Boulevard. Large parking areas are located five miles ahead near the Campus East entrance at MTSU Blvd.
