There will be a small graduaon recepon
on Thursday, March 7, from 11:45 ‐12:15 in SYMR 203 for the Spring I Level 6 graduates. Students who plan to aend will sign up in their Level 6 class on Wednesday of Week 7. At the recepon, the students will be able to pick up their cerficates, have refreshments, and take pictures with their classmates. The Level 6 teachers and Director Fleurquin will also be there. Please stop by to wish your classmates well!

Grades will be available Friday, March 8,
9:00 am—11:00 am & 1:30 pm—3:00 pm in the Student Lounge.
Please pick up your paper grade report from IELI. Your online grades may not be available unl Friday, March 8. Somemes your grade reports have important leers aached to them, and you can’t get that informaon online. You also won’t be able to read your teachers’ comments online.
If you are unable to pick up your grade report, you have two opons:
Ask the Main Office (SYMR 204) to mail your grade report to you.
Fill out a Grade Release Consent form, which authorizes a friend to pick up your report for you. This form must be filled out by 5:00 PM on March 7 and an IELI administrator must approve it. No one can pick up your grade report without an IELI administrator’s approval.
All schedule preferences for the Spring II term
must be submied online between Monday, February 18 and Friday, March 1.
When you complete the preference form, you must submit documentaon, such as an official work schedule, your EIS class schedule, or an
official leer from your child’s school or daycare. Go to ieli.unt.edu; log in with your EUID and
password. If you have special circumstances, you must submit
your request and the appropriate documenta on
before the deadline of March 1, 2013. Very few
changes will be made a er the Spring II term
begins.
Spring Break is from March 6 ‐ 17. If you plan to travel, please plan accordingly and do not schedule a fl ight before March 6. Remember, Spring II term begins March 18! If you live in the UNT dorms and plan to stay in your room during Spring Break, you should tell your dorm’s front desk staff so they know you will be in the building during the break.
Explore Fort Worth ‐ Tuesday, March 12, 9:00 am ‐ 6:30 pm. We will visit the Historic Stockyards, shop and eat lunch at Sundance Square, and visit the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. This trip is free, but you must sign up in Amber’s office by March 8.
The cost of tuion for Spring II 2013 tuion is $2,920.00.
The Spring II tuion payment deadline is 3 p.m. on Friday, March 1. If you need to set up an installment plan for your tuion payment, please go to the Payment office in SYMR 205 BEFORE March 1. If you pay aer March 1, there will be a late fee of $100.

Zhanzhan Zhang started in Levels 3 and 4 in Fall I
2012, and during her me in IELI, she has
parcipated in most IELI acvies and field trips and
volunteered her me and ideas for IELI
events. Zhanzhan is currently in Levels 5 and 6 and
wants to pursue her Master’s degree in Accounng at UNT. Zhanzhan was recommended by mulple IELI
teachers who had the following to say about her:
“Zhanzhan is awesome! I had her in WR 4 last term,
and she was a model student. She worked hard,
par cipated very well in all group ac vi es, always
came to class on me, was friendly, and had a great a tude,” said Angela Landt.
“I had Zhanzhan in Level 5 Communicaon and in ASC. She is really one of the
best students I’ve had here,” said Vanessa van Drunen. “She is stellar in all ac vi es/skills. You should see her color ‐coded
note‐taking booklet…She has my vote!” said Sandy Stroo. Congratulaons, Zhanzhan, on your accomplishments!

Congratulaons Cecilia “Ceci” Angui for being the Spring I video volunteer winner! Ceci was in seven weekly memo video clips!
April is Global Cizens Month! There will be events throughout the month for ALL countries. Olga Grieco needs
help with many of these events! Go to the Welcome Center, SYMR 286, to volunteer for an
event. There are meengs every Wednesday from 3:30 pm ‐ 5:00 pm in SYMR 286.
Amber needs volunteers to help with orientaon March 6, 7, and 8. We will need translators to welcome and explain informaon to new Spring II students. Sign up in Amber’s office, SYMR 214, by March 1 if you are interested.
IELI and the Math Department at UNT are off ering a GRE Prep Course for internaonal students. Two classes will be off ered: (1) Analycal Wring and Verbal Reasoning and (2) Quantave Reasoning. Students can sign up for either class or both. Each class will meet for two hours per week.
When will the classes be off ered? March 25‐May 9, 2013
