“ Play it by ear”
Definion: improvise (figure it out) as one goes along
Used in a sentence: Andy plans to spend the day
with his friend, Tom. They decided they will go to a
movie, then play it by ear. They don’t
have a specific plan because they
will decide what to do as the day
progresses.
Spring Break is from March 19 ‐ 23. The first week of classes for
the Spring 2 term is March 12 ‐ 16. If you are

and do not schedule a fl ight before March 17.
Remember that if school is closed for bad weather, all students

send you an email, a text message, or a phone call before you
leave home. If you sign up for Eagle Alert, you will know im‐
mediately when UNT is closed for bad
weather and you won’t have to travel to
campus.
Each week, Amber and Karina will make a Weekly Update
video of important events and announcements. If you
would like to star in one of the weekly update
videos, please stop by the Student Acvies
Coordinator’s office (SYMR 214) and talk to
Amber or Karina.
