Real Estate Discuss and develop new strategies that support the stabilization of our market and housing and community development needs; Conduct annual recognition event for all real estate sectors. Profile commercial real estate properties periodically.
Technology & Bioscience Promote South Florida technology and bioscience organizations; conduct technology seminars, business continuity update, networking events and Annual Technology Leader of the Year Awards

Governmental Affairs: Post Legislative Session Review An annual recap of the state legislative session. Learn how the 2011 state budget will impact your business and get updates on key legislative issues.
Leadership Miami® Annual program of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the South Florida Progress Foundation, and sponsored by several of Miami-Dade County’s premier companies, local agencies and corporations. The program offers participants the opportunity to meet Miami’s leaders and to share an intensive learning experience that focuses on community issues and leadership skills through a planned process of lectures, seminars, small group discussions and leadership skills exercises.

Presented in partnership with Barry University, Florida International University, Johnson & Wales, Nova Southeastern University, Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce and Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.

One Community One Goal Join us for an update on the new One Community One Goal Initiative lead by the Beacon Council, in partnership with the Greater Miami Chamber, Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and other community partners. The initiative is designed to prioritize industries which have the potential for future growth and job creation for our community. It also will identify industry needs so educational institutions can train people with the skills needed to meet those demands. One Community One Goal will contribute directly to the economic recovery and growth of the region by providing an educational focus on those growing industries and by connecting people to career pathways that lead to jobs. This session will feature the official consultant for the initiative, Avalanche Consulting of Austin, Texas.
3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. MID-AFTERNOON WORKSHOP SESSIONS
International Business Development Examination of our international initiatives and programming for the coming year to help chamber members take advantage of international opportunities both in South Florida and abroad including: business development missions, visits by foreign dignitaries, forums, briefings and roundtables on international trends and issues with international business leaders; international awards program. Current Session: Consular Corps, Cuba, Global Intelligence, Global Linkage Initiatives and Leadership Americas.
New World Center (Downtown Miami) Discussion around issues of concern to Miami’s downtown: Museum Park; transportation; Miami River; livability, marketing and entertainment.
