SALUKI PEER MENTORSThe purpose of the Saluki Peer Mentor program is to connect new first-year students with continuing students in an engaging, meaningful mentor relationship focused on the development of academic and personal skills essential for success during the first year at SIU. These upperclass students know their way around, so they will serve as tour guides, facilitate sessions along with campus faculty and staff and just be available to answer any questions you may have throughout the day. These students represent our commitment to students across all Academic Colleges, experiences and interests. SIU has a great deal to offer students and families, and the Saluki Peer Mentors are shining examples of how powerful Saluki Pride is at SIU.

Academic Advisement appointments are listed on nametags. Visit the Academic Advisement table 15 minutes prior to your appointment to be escorted to the Academic Advisement locations by Saluki Peer Mentors. Please be on time, or your appointment may be moved.

* If you are an Automotive Technology or Aviation Flight major, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment to be transported to the Transportation Education Center classroom.
