Eyes on ... Muddy aftermath I was riding my bike when I heard loud giggles and contagious laughter. I stopped to wit-ness a group of youngsters frolicking in a mud puddle near a harvested cane fi eld. They were muddy from head to toe. I smiled as I remembered my adult son and his faithful pack of seven boys who roamed the woods, canefi elds and neighborhood sunup to sundown. Iberian’s 2013 Community Profi le that gives us the opportunity to show off pictures submitted by our readers, the shut-terbugs who participated in this year’s Eyes on the Teche contest. The quality

and number of photos submitted to us were

impressive, a real trib-ute to the creative eye and oppor-tunities

taken by the photogra-phers.
