Adventure Camps for All AbilitiesSummer 2013

A variety of new exciting events and camps are being offered at the BIAC

this summer! Camp coordinator, Amy Hudson, is anxious for the

summer to begin! Amy, a Henderson native, has been involved in

Church and Youth Ministry for 20 years, coached recreational and

competitive cheerleading, and worked as a wedding and event

coordinator. She has one daughter, Emily, who attends Asbury

University in Wilmore, Ky. Amy has a heart for young people and a

desire to see them have every possible opportunity to grow into who

they were created to be. She believes that each and every individual is

fearfully and wonderfully made and it is her goal to reinforce this

truth in children, teens and adults.

Included in this packet are the many exciting camps that are being

offered this summer at the BIAC. For a more extensive list of events,

please see the website calendar. Be sure to note that each one has a

Adventure Camps for All Abilities

Kindergarten 6th

GradeSchool grade is defined as: the grade the student will enter into in the upcoming school

year. However, we encourage parents to use their discretion.

1 Day Water Wars AdventureKids, come enjoy a day of water-filled fun to kick off the summer! Experience Zip-lining

like never before when water works are added to your high speed flight. Work your

way through the Low Ropes Adventure course with a few splashes along the way! Enjoya yummy lunch that will be provided for you, and finish the day with a massive water

bomb fight with your friends!

Price per person: $35.00 (Lunch & T-shirt included)

4 Day Super ME CampYou are unique; theres only one YOU! Discover your inner strength, by finding your

SUPER ME! Of course, all SUPERS need a cape! So, head to the craft area to create your

own. Like all super heroes in action, someone is always waiting to take a photograph,

so a little face paint will help to conceal your true identity! This four day camp will be

filled with action and adventure! You never know, the last day of camp you may even

learn to fly (Hint, hint Zip-line!) A Super Hero lunch will be provided each day.

1 Day Cheerleading Camp for GirlsLearn how to cheer, jump, stunt, and dance at the one day cheer clinic, instructed by

the Asbury University Cheerleading Captain. Enjoy a fun filled day with your friends

learning how to work as a team on the Low Ropes Adventure course. Take a break to

eat a lunch that mom or dad packed for you. Parents are invited to join us for the last

half hour of the camp. Finish the day shining like the star you are by performing all

your new cheerleading skills for your family!

Price per person: $35.00 (Bring a sack lunch)


4 Day Dig It CampHave you ever wondered what it would be like to go on an archeological excavation?

Its a lot of hard work, a cross between finding buried treasure and being a detective.

During this four day camp youll uncover the mysteries buried in the dirt! Exploration

teams will head out on a scavenger hunt to find & dig up some bizarre items. Youll

learn to work as a team to overcome some of the obstacles of the Low Ropes

Adventure course and then brave the Zip-line to get an overhead view of an excavation

site. Your lunch will be provided each day, so youll be full of energy to DIG IT!



1 Day Creative Crafts CampJoin us for a fun-filled day at the Creative Crafts day camp! You never know what kind

of crafts youll get to make! Maybe create a pendant thats yours and yours alone

because its marked with your fingerprint. How about painting your own burlap pillow

case? The birds at the BIAC would sure appreciate it if youd make them a bird feeder.

Being creative can sure make you hungry, so you and your fellow crafters will take a

break to enjoy your packed lunch. When the camp is over your parents will sure enjoy

displaying you beautiful creations.

3 Day Boot Camp for BoysCalling all you tough guys! Do you like wearing camo and acting just like GI Joe? If so,

then you will fit right in at our 3 day long Boot Camp! Come enjoy running, crawling,

and climbing through all the obstacles of the Low Ropes Adventure course and foraging

through the woods on a BOOT scavenger hunt. Well provide a boot camp worthy,

healthy lunch for each day of the camp. On the last day of training escape the warzone by Zip-lining to safety.Price per person: $125.00 (Lunch included)


1 Day Club Dazzle Camp for GirlsGlitter, glitz and glam! Alright girls! Who wants their nails polished to perfection, make-

up applied like a model and hair styled in a new crazy do? If you answered ME! then

sign up for this fashionably fun day at Club Dazzle! And wait did someone say photo

shoot? Of course! Plus, by the end of the day youll be ready to hit the runway for a

dazzling fashion show! Dont forget to pack a lunch because it takes a lot of energy to

be beautiful.

3 Day Cheerleading Camp for GirlsGO TEAM! GO! Cheerleading is such an exciting sport and this three day camp is going

to be a blast! Each day youll work at learning cheers, stunts, jumps and a dance all

under the instruction of the Asbury University Cheerleading Captain. As you know,

cheerleading requires a lot of teamwork, so be ready to conquer the challenges on the

Low Ropes Adventure course with all your team mates. Cheerleading also takes a lot

of energy, so youll get to take a break each day and well provide lunch. Then its back

to work! Parents youre invited to join us for the last hour on the last day of the camp

to see your cheerleaders in action!


4 Day Weird & Wacky Science CampWould you like to be part of some crazy experiments? Then the Weird and Wacky

Science Camp is just for you! Each day of this camp will be filled with activities,

experiments, projects, crafts, and games all with a zany science theme. Make sure you

bring your thinking caps, though. Youll need lots of brain power to work your way

through the wild Low Ropes Adventure course and the trails of the nature walk are a

great place to explore the environment and all the plants, animals, and insects that live

in it. Lunch will provided for you each day, but dont worry you wont have to eat any

of the experiments or maybe you will!


3 Day Just Dance Camp for GirlsAre you ready to groove, shake, leap and glide at this all girls Just Dance Camp! Well,

you better get ready! This three day camp is going to be jammed packed with fun and

excitement and of course, DANCE! In addition to learning several different styles of

dance, campers will participate in activities such as crafts and team building activities

on the Low Ropes Adventure course. By the end of the camp, youll be ready to hit the

stage to showcase your new dance skills! Parents are invited to join us for the

performance on the last hour of the last day. We know that dancers sure do work up

an appetite, so count on us to provide you with a healthy lunch each day.

1 Day Water Wars & Zip-Line AdventureSummer has started! If youre middle school age, come kick it off with an action

packed day of crazy water aworks and Zip-lining. Also, grab your friends to work your

way through the challenging Low Ropes Adventure course. Dont be surprised if thereare a few splashes along the way! Catch your second wind during the lunch provided,

and then finish up the day with a massive water bomb fight!



3 Day High Adventure CampIf you like adventure, then this is the camp for YOU! A complex Low Ropes course, a

high flying Zip-line, intense and in-depth training for the extreme High Ropes course!

Think you can handle it? I forgot to mention, on the last day of the camp youll be

eating lunch in the treesabout 30 feet in the air! All this packed into three exciting

and exhausting days!


3 Day Fear Factor CampSo, how brave are you? Brave enough to sign up for 3 fear factor filled days of daring

challenges and tasks? What about eating creepy snacks, sifting through slippery slime,

and taking a risk on the Adventure course? Dont worry, youll get to take a break to

eat and calm your nerves. Dont get too comfortable, though, on the last day youll get

the chance to face your high flying fears on the Zip-line. Sign up if you dare!



3 Day Top Model Camp for GirlsConfident, bold, smart, healthy, happy and beautiful! We believe that each and every

one of you young ladies should feel this way about yourself. So, the focus of this camp

is to make sure you do. Youve all seen the hit TV show, but were going to kick it up a

notch. Its not just about a pretty face, but true beauty comes from INSIDE! During the

three days youll not only learn how to walk the runway with perfect posture and poise,

but youll face challenges to test your bravery and build your confidence. How about a

high flying photo shoot on the Zip-line?! Add on hair, make-up and fashion tips and

youll be totally ready! Bring on the paparazzi! The Top Models are coming!

Price per person: $125.00 (Lunch included)


3 Day Aliens vs. Zombies Camp for BoysWhich of the two natural enemies will prevail in conquering the camp? Aliens or

Zombies? With their advantage of superior weaponry and armor, Aliens think they will

win. But Zombies have the advantage when it comes to strength and speed. The

outcome will be decided as both species engage in demanding challenges and tricky

games. Be careful not to get lost scavenging for supplies in the wasteland and watch

out for adversaries as you fly along the Zip-line! Both sides must stay aware at all times

and successfully complete goals to receive Victory Points. At an appointed time each

day, a truce will be called adversaries must still eat! So, if youre brave enough to let

the flip of a coin decide if your fate is to be an Alien or a Zombie, then sign up. Let the

war begin!

Color Splash Paint Party & ConcertThe summer is just beginning, so start it out incognito when camouflaged with an array

of colors! Fun and excitement will be propelled to new heights as you throw, sling and

splash paint on yourself and your friends! Add some extra loud music and this WILL

NOT be your typical night out! Were still in the process of booking the bands, so more

2 Day High Adventure ExperienceIf you like adventure, then you do NOT want to miss this! During this two day

experience youll work your way through a complex Low Ropes course, brave a high

flying Zip-line and go through intense and in-depth training for the extreme High Ropes

course! Think you can handle it? I forgot to mention, youll be eating lunch in the

Extreme Flashlight Tag & BonfireIts time to kick back and relax around a bonfire, roast some weenies and make some

smores. Dont get too comfortable, though. Armed with your flashlight (that you

bring with you), youll head into the woods for an intense game of flashlight tag. Shine

those beams on your friends and Theyre OUT! Join us for a night full of fire,

flashlights, and fun!

Water Wars & Zip-Line AdventureAnyone up for a giant water balloon slip and slide? How about a Zip-line experience like

never before? Well, if anyone can add water works to an already exciting adventure,

we can! As if the Low Ropes Adventure course wasnt challenging enough, lets add a

few splashes along the way! Youll get to finish off the day with a massive water bomb

fight with your friends! Whoever manages to stay the driest after the water war gets a

prize! Dont forget to bring your water gun (and any other watery weapons of

destruction) and a towel!
