Consider This Before You Make an Advertising Decision...

Out & About Online Banner Advertising

In 2006, less than 60% of US households were on cable. This number is continually declining with the growth of satellite TV and online on-demand free video services. Additionally, with the booming popularity of DVRs, more consumers than ever are skipping past paid advertising.

Audience reach is measured by the total listening on all stations. When you divide this by the number of stations beaming into the tri-city market, the audience of any one station is extremely low. For example, 6 radio spots in one week on even the top rated stations will reach only 17.4% of the market, and with 42 spots you reach about 33.5%, according to RMH Research. Even in a “best case” scenario, this can result in less than 6,000 people hearing your message. Plus, it’s very expensive.

As for competing print media throughout the mid-Michigan area, The Review circulation has remained constant, unlike the daily publications, which have cut back to weekend publishing and curtailed their print circulation. For weekly distribution of specialty publications, the bi-weekly Review Magazine is a fraction of the investment, with a circulation double that of the weekly Township Times and monthly Word-Up Magazine, and over three times that of the monthly Great Lakes Bay Magazine (formerly Tri-City Magazine and before that known as Interlude Magazine).

Readers usually keep The Review for at least two full weeks, making use of our extensive entertainment calendar, as well as other informative features, top-notch writing and investigative reporting, referring to each edition repeatedly.

• Mechanicals: Page dimensions: 6 col. x 12.5” (10.25” x 12.5”), column width 1 and 9/16”.

• We reserve the right to revise rates at any time.

• Preferred Position: Inside front cover, center spread, or back page add 10%.

• Artwork/Ad Design: Basic production work for print is free. 10% discount for print-ready artwork. Custom design work: $50/hour. Please provide CMYK print-ready artwork in PDF or JPG format, minimum resolution 200 dpi.
