Jones Lang LaSalle’s support of Empowerhouse helps bring a long-standing commitment to energy effi ciency to the home front.

Jones Lang LaSalle supports sustainable “Without the phenomenal leadership and commitment of Jones Lang LaSalle, the Empowerhouse project would not have achieved international recognition as the most affordable passive home in the 2011 Solar Decathlon. The fi rm’s enthusiastic support for green technologies of the future was an inspiration to the design teams at Parsons The New School For Design and especially to Habitat for Humanity of D.C. Habitat has nearly completed the transfer of the award-winning passive house to a neighborhood in the District. Soon a family will move into the house. Jones Lang LaSalle made the transition happen from an academic endeavor into a real world model of what green building standards should be. Jones Lang LaSalle leveraged its extensive corporate relationships into substantial in-kind donations, donated its own expertise at critical times and even volunteered nearly 1,000 hours of service at the Empowerhouse construction site.”
