Ranking sixth on the all-time NCAA Division III wins list, Miech was just the second female coach in any division of NCAA women’s soccer to reach 200 career victories. Miech’s best success has come in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) play where she has lost just 12 regular season matches in the 20-year history of the league. She owns a staggering 133-12-7 career record in regular season conference matches, having won 14 conference championships. Miech guided the Pointers through the longest conference winning streak in NCAA history with 70 straight WIAC wins from 1997 to 2003. Miech was recently recognized for her dominance in the WIAC by being selected as the WIAC’s Women’s Soccer All-Time Coach in conjunction with the conference’s upcoming Centennial Celebration. As a player and coach, Schmidt has helped the Pointer squad earn four conference titles (2004, 2007, 2009, 2010) along with four NCAA post-season appearances including a Sweet 16 finishes in 2007 and 2010.

Megan Schmidt is in her third season as an assistant coach for the Pointers, and her second year as the team’s top assistant.

Schmidt played defense for the Pointers for four years from 2004-2007. She was named team captain her senior season. In her freshman year Schmidt helped lead the Pointers to a WIAC Championship.

Schnell also works for Associ-ated Bank as an Asset Recovery Coordinator.

Schnell is in his first season as an as-sistant coach for the UWSP women’s soccer team.

A 2008 UWSP graduate, Schnell was a player and president of the men’s club soccer team.

aSSt. CoaCH aSHLey aNderSThe former Pointer captain will finish her degree in Exercise Sci-ence this spring.

Anders enters the 2011 season for the first time as an assistant coach.

As a four-year letterwinner for UWSP, Anders led the squad to three confer-ence championships and four NCAA post-season appearances including three trips to the Sweet 16 from 2007-2010.
