gEnEral poliCiES

The policies for summer camp students in regard to conduct, courtesy, appearance and honor code will be the same as regular Charlotte Christian School policies.

• AllstudentsandvisitorsareexpectedtoexemplifyJesusChristandpursueexcellenceat all times.

• CharlotteChristianSchooloperatesunderanhonorcodewhichspecificallyforbids stealing,cheatingorlying.Camperswhoviolatethispolicyaresubjecttosuspensionor dismissal.

•Modestandappropriateclothingisrequiredwhileoncampus. Footwearisrequiredatalltimes.

•Boysshallnotwearearringsoranyotherinappropriatejewelry.

•Novisiblebodypiercingorvisibletattooswillbeallowed.

•Hats,capsorotherheadcoveringsarenotallowedinsidethebuildings.

•Thepossessionoftobacco,alcoholicbeverages,drugsandfirearmsisnotallowedon campus and can lead to an immediate dismissal without refund.

•Studentsmustarriveandbepickedupontime.Thereisalatefeeof$10per 10minutes.

Manyofuswilltaketimetotraveltovisitwithfamilyandfriends.Others will choose to catch up on the extra sleep maybe lostduringthebusyschoolyear.Butwhatwillyourstudentdowhenthetravelingisdoneandthey’vegottenalltheextrasleeptheyneed? I have theanswer for your family! Come join us foraCharlotte Christian School summer camp. While attending camp studentscanlearn,playandexploreintheareasofathletics,fineartsandenrichment.Eachoftheseareaswillprovidethemwithanopportunity to expand their horizons.

CharlotteChristianSchoolstrivestomeettheneedsofthewholechild-heart,mind,body,andsoul.Aseducators,weknowthatthisisacontinualprocess.Itisourdesiretoprovidestudentswithopportunitiestoexceloutsidetheclassroom.Oursummerprogramsprovidestudentswithopportunities to expand their horizons spiritually, emotionally, and physically while integrating biblical truth into the daily learning of the campers.

Oursportscampswillallowstudentstosharpentheirskillsandsolidifythefundamentalsofthegame.Ourenrichmentcampswillcapturetheimaginationandsparkcreativityforlearning.Whetheritiscreatinganddesigningtheirownspecialcake,exploringdinosaurs,orenjoyingaweekfulloflegos,eachdaywillholdsomethingnew.

Whetheryourstudentwouldliketoattendcampforoneweekorformanyweeks,thereareavarietyofcampsavailablethatwillpeaktheinterestofstudentswholovetolearn,playandexplore.Wehopethatyourfamilywillcomespendtimewithusthissummerasweexpand our horizons together.

ChESS aCaDEmyCampers will learn the names andmovementsofthepiecesandhow to win the game. Lessons will include basic tactical themes and patterns. Tournament rules and practices will be taught each day. All campers will learn a briefhistory of the origin of chess.

Ifyouareaskingyourselfthisquestionthenafun-filledanswerisawaitingyouhereatCharlotteChristian’sSuperSummerDayCamp.Camperswillenjoydifferentactivitieseachweekdevelopedaroundthetheme“MyBigBackyardAdventure.”

Camperswill enjoymaking crafts, swimming, special field trips, basketball, tennisandplayground time.There will be dress up days, treasure hunts, soccer games and a bike paraded to celebrate America.Camperswillalsoenjoynaturehikesandmaking theirownkites.
