• Can appear with a view of a single part file or assembly file

• If printed the gray box does not show

• Use the Drawing View Tracker to gain knowledge to understand more



• We have today a macro that will create a Bill of Material for any 2D block on a sheet

• The macro has an ini file that aids the user in “customizing” what the BOM looks like

• The macro reads from the block properties that are saved with the block

Layers: More than just for Dimensions/Text

• Did you know you can place drawing views on a layer? (any view)

• Anything that can be placed on a drafting sheet can be placed on a layer


Drawing View Depth

• How many in use the Drawing View Depth tool?

• How many didn’t know about the tool?

• Why would you want to use it?

• You can use it on any orthogonal views, section views and broken out sections views
