The power to win. The Passat comes with a 2.0L, 200 hp, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine (fuel consumption estimates:

10 city / 6.6 highway L/100 km)* that apportions just the right amount of power off the line as it does in

motion. Maybe that’s why it won the “International Engine of the Year” award** for the 1.8−2.0L category

presented by Engine Technology International†. Available with a 6-speed automatic transmission

with Tiptronic—the hallmark shiftable automatic transmission that puts supreme control squarely

in the driver’s grasp. Direct injection technology also makes the Passat ultra efficient by aiding in

fuel economy, emissions control, and responsiveness all at the same time. Pumping fuel directly

A car with curves that hugs the curves. One of the newest cars in the Volkswagen family also happens to be the fastest. While the designers were busy

making the Passat CC a supermodel among sedans, the engineers were busy maximizing its power and performance.

Falling in love with the Passat CC is easy. Choosing a power plant to propel your Passat CC, well that’s a bit harder.

First, there’s the 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with direct fuel injection that delivers 200 hp and 207 lb-ft

of torque. Standard with 6-speed manual or available 6-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic, sport mode

and Dynamic Shift Program (DSP) (a smart shifting program that learns to drive like you do).

The second option is the 3.6L V6 engine with 4MOTION that delivers 280 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. Either way,
