Lorna Benavides

Costa Rican -Spanish sculptor and painter.In 1982 she obtained the Academic ExcellenceScholarship in Sculpture in the admissionsprocess at the Academia de San Fernando,Madrid. She graduated in Fine Arts fromAcademia de San Fernando, Madrid, and SanCarlos Fine Arts Universty, Valencia.Since 1986 Ms Benavides has participated inseveral single and joint sculpture and paintingexhibitions throughout Spain, and since 2002

she has taken part regularly at the “Salon deSculpture et Peinture” in Gers. In she wasselected as the sculptor for the Parque La Pinadain l’Eliana, Valencia.In 1994 she founded the Academia Círculo deArte, where she teaches and exhibits her work.

Alejandro Decinti

Chilean-Italian painter. He graduated in fine artsfrom the University of Chile. He moved to Spainin 2002.He was admitted to the Faculty of Arts ofthe University of Chile, and was awarded theAcademic Excellence Scholarship in the 1991admission process to Chilean universities. Heobtained the first place in the “Arte en Vivo”painting competition in 1994 and was granteda post-graduate scholarship from the Fundación

Arte y Autores Contemporáneos at Madrid.Together with Chilean artist Oscar Villalón, heestablished the Decinti & Villalón Painting Studiobased at Calle del Castillo, Chamberí, Madrid,where they actively teach and strive to promotepainting.

Antonio Máro

Born and raised in Peru. He has lived in Europesince 1950. He studied painting in Stuttgart,under Willi Baumeister.He has staged a series of individual exhibitionsin many European countries, as well as in LatinAmerica, Canada and the USA, such as at theAteneo San Basso, Venice Biennial, 1982-1986;the European Parliament, 1994; the Museo dela Nación, Lima, 1995; The Instituto CulturalPeruano-Norteamericano, Lima, 1996; the

World Trade Center, Jakarta, 1996; the Chan MaiUniversity Museum, Bangkok, 1996; the WorkingPeople’s Palace, Forbidden City, Beijing, 1996; theContemporary Arts Museum, Lima; the NationalLibrary, Berlin, 1998; the Kunsthof Gallery, Berlin,1999; the Frascati Art Museum, Rome, 2005;the Instituto Latino Americano, Rome, 2006; theMosaique, International Contemporary Art, PontSaint Marie, Brussels, 2007.

Rafael Ramírez

Peruvian painter; he is Antonio Máro’s son.As a 12 year-old boy he worked in his father’satelier, producing with him several works forvarious exhibitions, including the Venice Biennial,festivals and other public works on a large scale,such as the Stadthalle at Hilden, as well aschapels in Salzburg and Eifel.He enrolled in the Superior School of Painting,St. Luc at Liege. He also studied with Rolf Kollerand Schaffmeister in Cologne. He studied history

of art, philosophy and literature to deepen hisknowledge for the themes of his big pictorialcycles in the RTWH, Aix-la-Chapelle, Germany.He has carried out portraits, nudes, abstractand sacred paintings (such as Saint Elizabeth inthe entrance of the Santa Isabel de Lima Clinic,Peru), as well as copies of 17th Century mastersin Vienna and Antwerp.
