Event Objectives
The main objective of this event will be to provide an environment to facilitate collaboration between Qatari, Gulf and International Investors, who can work together to foster International investment, Joint Venture and transfer of Know-How.
The event will significantly raise international awareness of the immediate, extensive advantages of doing business with Qatari and Gulf investors. It also provides an opportunity for the Qatar government to confirm and promote to an international audience, their efforts to encourage diverse and global investment, thus enhancing the economic status of Qatar as an international business centre.
The event will provide a platform for the promotion of Qatar as a strategic, accessible location, with an excellent and reliable infrastructure, pleasant and safe working environment, with no restrictions on profit transfer or capital repatriation – all which bode well for future investment.
The Qatar Government will have the opportunity to significantly raise international awareness of Qatar’s vision for the year 2020 and beyond.

UCI will use its extensive experience in creating international business-facilitation event to design a programme that produces a significant amount close collaboration between well-matched parties.

Travel ArrangementsUCI arranges special rates for flights and accommodations. If you wish to book a room please contact the hotel directly stating that you are an UCI delegate. If you wish us to assist you in booking flights, please contact our London UCI office. Delegates are responsible for payments of their own travel and accommodation. If you have any additional requirements e.g. wheelchair access, large prints etc. please notify UCI at least one month before the conference date.
All bookings carry a 20% liability as soon as a completed registration form has been received. To obtain 80% refund, cancellation in writing must bereceived by UCI International by 22 April 2008. Substitute delegates are welcome. The Organiser undertakes to ensure that the event is properly
conducted on the dates indicated in this contract and every day from 9.00am to 5.00pm. The dates, the venue or the host country may however bechanged by the organiser, in addition to an unforeseen circumstance or force majeure, without the participant being able to object to this or to claim
compensation, if it was in the interest itself of the event, in view of its purpose and its international character, that such a change should take place, with the organiser being responsible for notifying the participant of such in writing as soon as possible in the light of the circumstances.
