Special Meeting of the Board of Education, Township of Woodbridge, was held on July 14, 2008, at 4:00 p.m., in Conference Room A of the Administration Building, School Street Woodbridge, New Jersey. The meeting opened with the Salute to the Flag and a moment of silence. The President, Brian Molnar presided. Board members present: Diane Acquisto, Thomas “Skip” Garley, Pat Hardiman, Lewis Huber, Judy Leidner, Lawrence Miloscia, Brian Small, George Yuhasz, Brian Molnar. Board personnel present: None. Newspaper Reporters Present: None Board Vice President, Brian Small, read the following statement regarding the Open Public Meetings Law: "The New Jersey Open Public Meetings Law was enacted to insure the right of the public to have advance notice of and to attend the meetings of public bodies at which any business affecting their interest is discussed or acted upon. In accordance with the provisions of this act, the Board of Education had caused notice of these meetings to be published by having the date, time and place, thereof, posted as follows:

July 3, 2008: Faxed to Home News Tribune and the Star Ledger Hand delivered to Municipal Clerk Posted in Avenel Middle School Oak Ridge Heights School #21 and the Board of Education Administration Building." Mr. Small then presented to the Board for its consideration, a resolution for a Closed Session to discuss subjects exempted from the public portion of the meeting. The discussion to be held in Closed Session will be about personnel matters which include: candidate interviews for the position of Superintendent of Schools. Any information regarding the Closed Session discussion will be released to the public when the reasons for discussing these matters in Closed Session no longer exist. On motion by Mr. Small, seconded by Ms. Hardiman and carried, the Board retired into Closed Session at approximately 4:07 p.m. The Board returned from Closed Session at approximately 7:33 p.m. and a roll call found all members present as were previously recorded.
