PIPE INSULATION

PIPE INSULATION

Mechanical piping systems such as those used in heating, ventilating, air conditioning, or refrigeration attemperatures not exceeding 220°F (104°C) sometimes need to be insulated for maximum operational efficiency. Theinsulations listed below have been tested and found to be acceptable in and of themselves, without needingautomatic sprinkler protection.

Each insulation should be used with regard for the size and shape limitations, if any, following their respectivelistings.
