Another year has come and gone and what have we got. We have memories of an amazing 10 months. A year that saw you involved in many wonderful activities. This book represents memories. Memories of what you did last year. It also represents memories of your friends.

As you look back through these wonderful pages, the memories come rushing back. I would like to thank Madame Almeida and her team for producing such an outstanding yearbook.

The pages of this year's Perspective depict the many learning experiences and special events that marked the very busy 2007/ 2008 school year. Reading through the yearbook will bring it all back to life once again.

From the early days of September to the final days in June, teachers and students were engaged in exciting inquiry as their classrooms became writers' workshops, home building sites, medical centres and sound labs; they were immersed in Greek and Roman culture, helped reduce our environmental footprint, created unique space crea-tures and much, much more!

Beyond the walls of the classroom, students participated in Student Council, Primary and Junior Choir, ISMF, the Junior Development League, U-12 sports teams, our first Spelling Bee, the Terry Fox Run, United Way Week, House activities, Pyjama Day, Beach Day, Arts Day, the Oochathon, the Book Fair and Sports Day. Classes went on trips to the theatre, the ROM, the Science Centre, the CN Tower, Fort York, City Hall, Sprucecourt, art galleries, synagogues, temples and churches, Ramsden Park, Horseshoe Valley, Kortright, Mansfield, Norval and Camp Oochigeas.
