About Workshop Water quality is vital to the health, social and economic well-being of the people. Testing water sources is a critical step for anyone to safeguard against potential health and environmental risks. Food testing ensures food products are safe for consumption with no contaminants. Chemical and biological contamination in food plays an etiological role in various human diseases. Microbiological testing of food ensures monitoring and hence prevention of food poisoning outbreaks. Currently adulteration has become a growing problem worldwide in the food industry and for consumers. Testing for the presence of adulterants in food items plays a vital role in ensuring human health.
