If you haven’t been baptized in the Holy Spirit, now would be a good time, if you’re willing The Holy Spirit has gifts for you (1 Cor. 12)

Divorce is the result of an attack by the Enemy
Recovery from divorce requires recognition of the spirits at work and tools for getting rid of them now and resisting them in the future
Each session of this series will address the spirits and the tools
22 The Holy Spirit produces a different kind of fruit: unconditional love, joy, peace, patience, kindheartedness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, and self-control.
Where there is no vision from God, the people run wild, but those who adhere to God’s instruction know genuine happiness.
Proverbs 29:17
A vision is a picture of your desired future so you can avoid being stuck in the past or the present
“if you don’t know where you’re going, any road will get you there” A vision is a guide for decision making
Where there is no vision, the people perish (Proverbs 29:11)
Session 2 is devoted to crafting a new personal vision for the future
The story is told of the farmer who saw a vision in the clouds.
He read there three letters, G.P.C. He reasoned, "I must 'Go preach Christ.' I will obey God.“
He turned out to be a crashing failure as a preacher. Just when he thought he was nothing at all, that he had lost his only real career, that he had to sell his farm, he was saved by an angel.
The angel came to him, and said, "You already had a job. God was saying, 'Go plant corn.'"
Time for reflection and integration
What is your personal vision? Who has God called you to be?
It’s a vivid, idealized description of you, the person, that inspires, energizes and helps you create a mental picture of your target.
Your vision statement should describe God’s desired outcome for your life.
What does your Strengthsfinders summary tell you about your God given strengths and gifts? This is a clue to God’s vision for you

Write a one sentence epitaph for your tombstone.
How do you want to be remembered?
I wish that…
I had been more true to myself
I hadn’t worked so hard
I had more courage to express my feelings
I had stayed in touch with my friends
I had let myself be happier
Eternal One (to Habakkuk):2 Write down this vision. Write it clearly on
tablets, so that anyone who reads it may run. 3 For the vision points ahead to a time I have appointed; it testifies regarding the end, and it will not lie.Even if there is a delay, wait for it.
It is coming and will come without delay.
Given what God has called you to be, what has he called you to do? What is your purpose(s) for being on the planet?
What mission(s) has he given you to accomplish?
Your mission statement should be able to guide your actions, spell out your overall goals, provide a sense of direction and guide decision-making.
When completed, it should provide the framework or context from which all ideas, strategies and goals are formulated.

Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always...
Concerning acts of initiative and creation there is one elementary truth the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans:
That the moment one definitely commits oneself, the Providence moves too.
All sorts of things occur to help one that would otherwise never have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance which no man could have dreamt would come his way.
Whatever you can do, begin it.
