As some of you know, DCC (Denver Comic Con) is a pinnacle event for both Stacey and I. I’m sure that the Batmobile or the Wonder Z have never been as showroom quality as what we’ve gotten them this time. Weeks of polishing, waxing, and detailing. Finally, Stacey’s Wonder Z was chosen as 1 of 4 vehicles to be on display this year. Making it even more significant, is that the Colorado Movie Car display was limited from the 16 last year to only 4 this year. This is a huge honor as over the 3 days approximately 115,000 people attended this event. Be sure to congratulate her on this huge privilege when you see her. I was asked to display my car Friday night at the Club Cosplay event that ran concurrently with DCC for approximately 3,000 attendees. I’ve also done a couple of charity events with the Heroes Alliance group and will be heading down to Fort Carson to help troops that won’t be on leave to help them celebrate. At the end of the July, I’ve been asked to bring the Batmobile to the T-Mobile campus for a mini comic con event for 1,200 of it’s employees and their families. Maybe (fingers crossed) I might be picking up John Legere the CEO of T-Mobile for this huge event as he’s a giant Batman fan. That would be an incredible opportunity! We have (3) board positions without a candidate for the 2016-17 year. 1) President 2) Vice- President and 3) Each board position is considered open for running and we will be accepting nominations up until the end of the August meeting. Voting for the new board will be at the September general meeting. TO THE BATMOBILE! Tom (aka Batman ) Ziegelbauer
