Sunday's Lecture "Is the Five-Day a Week plan that is

now operating in a very few industries of the country, likely to be adopted universally, because of mass production and the enormous advance in machinery which has taken place in recent years?

Is it practical? Why are certain types of employers-

opposed to this plan? Why is organized labor advocating it? Is i t likely to be beneficial to the coun

try and labor at large? What will the working man do with

his increased leisure? Will American industries be 'able to

compete in the world market under the five-day a week plan?

Is mass production making "machines" of the workers?

These are some of the questions which the rabbi will treat in his discourse on this great industrial and social question which has become of vital importance.
