I. PLANT STATUS

Tne facility rerM1ns in long tcnn cold shutdown w1th the Reactor Cool • .lllt Syster~ (RCS) vented to the rc.lct.or ouflding <ltl~spherc and the reactor vessc l hedd Jnd p h~num ass1!mb ly removed frum the reactor vessel. The plenuut 1s on its storage stilnd in the deep end of the fuel transfer c~nal. A dam has b~en installed be~1een the deep and sha 11 ow ends of the fue 1 trilns fer canc1l. The dP.ep end 1 s filled with water to a depth of about 20 fe~t (about 5 feat above the top of the plenum}. Thu modifi ed internals indt>x1ng fixture is installed on t •'. r cilctor vessel flange dnd is floodec to e l evation 327 feet 6 in-nes (lSi feet above the top of the core region). The defuP.ling platform is installed OVI!r the Internal Indexing Fixture in preparation for defue 11ng. Ca lcubted reactor decay heat is l~ss than 12 kilowatts. RCS cooling is by naturai heat loss to the reactor ouflding ambient atmosphere . Incore themocouple readings range from 7l"F to 93"F with an average of 81QF. The JVtragc r-::actor building temperature 1s 58° F. The reactor building airborne activity 1s 1.5 E-7 uC1/cc Tritium and 2.0 E-10 uCf/cc parliculilte. prf!d'>lllinantly Cesium 137.
