SNOWBOARDING

Snowboarding has been on a steady increase sense it became established as a sport and has also been stealing

the market share of snow sports from the ski industry.

The History of snowboarding is a short one that has sped up like

wild fire

becomes recognized as an

JibbingThis style of grinding

derived from skateboard, jibbing is a freestyle

snowboarding technique of riding on any surface other

than snow. This can be anything from rails to trees. This is a trick style that is meant for the park but has been adapted into a more urban setting as riders try

to ride more and more objects that weren't

intended for a snowboard, like our friend to the left.

The snowboarding industry is a profitable one and this graphic

Freestyle Riding

Freestyle riding is one of the more technically difficult types which consists largely of terrain park riding which is anything from jumps to rails to different snow obstacles that only the most skilled should attempt to do tricks off of. This is where most of the Olympic snowboarding competitions are from.

Half Pipe

Half pipe riding has Recently emerged being innovative and difficult.

While there is all of this new trick oriented riding you can not forget about the true feeling of riding through waves of powder up to your waist!
