dth September, 1987, and in exercise of the poOwers conferred by seclion 44 of the Puniah

Weights and Mcasures (Enforcement)Act, 1958 (Punjab Act No. 22 f 1958), and all other

nwers enabling him in this behalf, the President of India is pleased t5 make the following

rules further to anmend the Punjab Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Rules, 1958.

namely RULES

1. These Rules may be called the Punjab Weights and Mefasures (Enforcement)

(First Amendment) Rules, 1988.

2. In the Punjab Weights and Measure (Enforcement) Rules1958, for the existing

Schedules X and XII, the following Schedules shall be sihbstituted, respectively,

namely:
