The Last Phase of 1399Neptune-Pluto1892:1821-1892

The last phase of 1399Neptune-Pluto1892 brought more change within a brief period than any time previous. The 20th Century certainly surpasses by amount.The breadth of change during the last part of the 19th Century, however, over previous centuries or even, millennium looks far wider.

• Humans entered the 1820s mostly traveling by sail or horse (even the latter   was a recent development) and entered the 1890s on rails or bicycles, soonfollowed by automobile and airplane;

• Electricity evolved from a few promising experiments to the verge of radiotransmission; by mid-century messages that used to take days or weeks could be

transmitted in seconds;• Streets lit by sometimes dangerous oil soon glowed under arc-lighting;

incandescent lightfollowed.

By the 1850s,the momentumtoward change proved unstoppable; by the 1890s it must have been dizzying.

More Than Material

Change reached into other areas, equally, if not more important. Displaying the

significance of its affect, Darwin knew the rancor his Origins of the Species would

cause, influencing how long he waited to publish. In a world where religious faith

could still mean life or death, messing with God was a huge step; by Nietzsche's time,

at the end of our period, 'God was Dead'. Looking around, Man, had surpassed God,

training Nature to his collective whim. Man could speed, tunnel, bridge, and electrify 

by means Nature never allowed. Soon (1895) the borders inside the mind would becrossed. Even advances fell to tremendous leaps; lighter, stronger steel replaced iron;

lighter, more powerful oil replaced coal.

The last phase of 1399Neptune-Pluto1892,

from 1821 to 1892, saw unprecedented change

across the entire globe.

An entirely different paradigm (and paradox) begins

with each new 495 year Neptune-Pluto wave. Each shift

takes place on foundations and unresolved issues of the

last wave.

Opposed to Jupiter or Saturn based waves, these three waves connect to

inter-century events versus intra-century ones.This compression occurs because of Pluto's “strange orbit”. The four phasesof Neptune-Pluto waves appear in intervals of 171, 71, 171, 72 years asopposed to 124.5 year periods by even division.

During this Uranus-Pluto wave industrialism moved

from cottage to multi-national status. Notice

significant civilian unrest near either side,

transportation also relate to them.

A management vs workers dynamic emerged here.

Unions rose, gained concessions after bitter con-flict. The telephone and light bulb signaled things

to come.

The idea of nationhood solidified in areas acrossthe globe around this time.

The Ending Neptune-Pluto Phase

The last phase of Neptune-Pluto waves share a tendency toward transition; a

shadowing of the next wave, while pressing issues from the present one remain.

the last phase includes an urge to apply lessons learned; to wrap up before moving to the

next cycle. Events of the time for sure match that description.

Flavor of the Period

People lived througha time that included a

mish-mash of cultures

and eras. Counts and

kings coexisted with

presidents and

carpetbaggers; sail lived

 with steam; barely did telegraph arrive to an areas, when telephone followed; horses and

electricity pulled trams through ever-changing streets. Dostoevsky began an agnostic,

became an atheist, then a Christian. The chooses were not taken lightly.

More importantly, people could see the world changing. How could you not notice a

new railroad? Factory? Telegraph poles strung in the disorganized way organic

movements spring from human imagination? In the United States, where much of the

new had opportunity to grow in virgin soil, Irish tolled with Swedes or Germans or 

Blacks unlike in any way possible in the land the spit them out. A New World, indeed.
