Para ello, el movimiento está equipado con undoble barrilete que garantiza una excelente constan-cia del par muelle-motor con el paso del tiempo, per-mitiendo así controlar y estabilizar la precisión cro-nométrica.El calibre 1904 MC está dotado de un sistema dereglaje fino, para ajustar a la perfección la cronome-tría del movimiento. Para permitir que el usuariopueda ajustar su reloj con máxima precisión, Cartierha dotado al calibre 1904 MC de un sistema de stop-segundo. Al tirar de la corona, la aguja de los segun-dos se detiene instantáneamente y comienza a fun-cionar de nuevo cuando se vuelve a posicionar lacorona contra la caja.El calibre 1904 MC ha fusionado con gran éxito laestética y la técnica, respondiendo a la máxima exi-gencia de las creaciones de la Maison Cartier.

Its elegant and distinguishedoutline is accentuated by a satin-brushed, polished,double shoulder that protects the polyhedral crownon all sides from any impacts that might otherwiseaffect its operation.The case’s transparent sapphire crystal back makesvisible the Calibre 1904 MC, a veritable demonstrationof Cartier’s watchmaking expertise.This new 11 ½ line calibre has been designed toguarantee perfect chronometric stability. To achievethis, the movement is equipped with a double barrelthat ensures excellent, long-term mainspring consistency,thus making it possible to control and stabilize thetimepiece’s precision.The calibre 1904 MC is fitted with a fine regulation systemthat permits perfect chronometric adjustment of thewatch’s movement. In order to enable each owner to set thewatch accurately to the nearest second, the Calibre 1904MC has been equipped with a stop-second system. Whenthe crown is fully pulled out, the second hand stopsinstantly. It immediately restarts once the crown is againpressed flush against the case.The Calibre 1904 MC is a highly successful combinationof aesthetics and technology, which responds to theoptimum demands of all Maison Cartier creations.
