Our Church News

Annual Reports from committee chairpersons are past due - have youturned yours in?

Our Trustees ask that if you haven’t returned your pledge for 2019,please do so as soon as possible. Pledges are a critical part of thebalanced budget we are required to present at our annual meeting in twoweeks. Your pledge card can be dropped off at our church office, mailedto the office or emailed to Lorene at [email protected]

Many thanks to those who participated in the Make and Take SignFUNdraiser on Saturday, September 15. There were 13 of us whoparticipated and we made $250 for Charitable Giving. We are planninganother Sign FUNdraiser for April 2019. We are hoping that even morepeople will be able to attend. Pat Krehn / Beth Hooker

RESCHEDULED!!! SATURDAY OCT 27 - 2nd Annual "Congo-Que"with Professional Barbequer Mark Wescott ("Smokin' Good TimeBBQ")- A "Just for Fun" competion will be held for bar-b-quers andgrillers. The winner will receive the coveted "Congo-Q" statue. Butothers who come can partake of somedelicious pulled pork bar-b-que preparedexpertly by Mark. A donation will betaken to cover the cost of the meat. Allextra will go to the church's outreachministry (Benevolence Committee) to helpthose in need. Mark will begin the daywith a bar-b-que tutorial for all interested.This event is open to the community.Those that would like to compete will need to bring your own grill andmeat. Tutorial begins at 9:00am. Grilling begins at 10:00am. Eating startsat 1:00pm. For more info or to register call Mat Emerick at231-414-7501.
