Global Interaction (GIA)– Strategic Roadmap 2021-2025
Global Interaction is the international intercultural sending
agency of Australian Baptist churches and facilitates the
service of Australian Baptists in Christ’s global mission. This
2021 - 2025 Roadmap is a God-breathed document
developed through conversation with hundreds of people
across the Australian Baptist movement. We are excited to
share it with you and serve together as partners in God's
mission. The Road map has three keys:
What We See: Vibrant faith communities following Jesus in
their own distinctive ways
Why: Because nothing matters more than sharing God’s love
for the world
How: Through Spirit-led people, humbly contextualising the
good news of Jesus in every place.
Outcomes or Milestones:
1. A strongly articulated missiology being lived out in strategic
locations
2. More intercultural workers, including those from diverse
backgrounds
3. Dynamic missional engagement across our Australian
Baptist movement
4. Vibrant partnerships and renewed organisational capacity.
Today Pastor Bob will be sharing with us ways in which GIA
continues to work alongside communities in many nations
with the message and hope of Jesus Christ and how we can
partner with them.

……………………………
Jesus, thank You
for calling and
enabling me to
serve You. Help
me to see this as
a privilege and to
serve You
willingly
……………………………
I wait patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set
my feet upon the rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He
put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.
(Psalm 40:1-3)
Praise Points:
Praise God for the great time and weather for our church family
picnic last Sunday – good to be able to share stories, fun
and encouragement.
Praise God for the work and partnership we have with our
chaplains – last Saturday afternoon was a wonderful time to
share with Dave, Steph, Ash and Anna and pray for them as
they minister at Aspley State School, Everton Park High and
Craigslea High Schools.
Praise God for the provision of a warehouse in Kedron for
Samaritan’s Purse to distribute shoe boxes this year.
Praise God for bringing people into our services most weeks and
online. May he touch their hearts with his Spirit and Word
and through our love and welcome.
Praise God for the opportunities we have this week to share our
story of Christ to friends, family, and neighbours. May the
seeds planted grow to relationships in Christ.
Prayer Points:
Pray for Pastor Bob Rogers as he shares God’s word and an
update on GIA work across nations. Pray for Katelyn and her
team as they lead. You can view our service online by going

filled and make Kingdom impact.
