GENERAL
1. All Cattle are to be free of ticks. Cattle will be randomly inspected for the presence of live ticks. 2. Due to ‘Workplace Health and Safety’ all electrical leads and milking machines must be tested and
tagged by a qualified electrician before bringing into the Showgrounds. 3. SUPREME CHAMPION RUG MUST NOT BE REMOVED FROM COW IN GRAND PARADE 4. No Dairy Cattle allowed on grounds prior to Tuesday 14th May 2019. 5. All cattle must be in their allocated stalls no later than 5pm Wednesday 15th May 2019 to allow for
NLIS Scanning. Any Exhibitors unable to meet this deadline are to advise the Show Society Office no less than 24 hours prior to this time so that alternative arrangements can be made (which may incur an additional fee).
6. The Owner or Exhibitor of their respective cattle are responsible for the notification to the NLIS database of their removal from the Showgrounds within 48 hours of doing so.
7. All Exhibits are to remain on the grounds until after noon on Saturday 18th May 2019. 8. If cattle arrive prior to Tuesday, it is the responsibility of the Exhibitor to dispose of waste. 9. All Exhibitors must be entered or eligible for entry in their respective herd books. Tattoo and herd
book numbers to be inserted on entry forms. All cattle must be bona fide property of the Exhibitor. All cattle entered must have full names, (Name of Sire for Progeny Group Classes) and birth date on the entry form. For Office purposes, a separate form for each breed would be appreciated.
10. Dairy classes in which age of exhibit is a condition of competition, the entry form shall state the actual date of birth (month and year). Age of classification will be 1st April of the current year.
11. Closing date for application for entry to exhibit the Gympie District Show is 4pm Tuesday 30th April 2019. Late entries will be accepted up to 9th May but will incur a late fee of $30 and your entry will not be in the catalogue.
12. All cattle to be ready when classes are called. Classes will not wait for Exhibitors, once called. 13. Animals may be spot checked for tampering. 14. Stewards reserve the right to ask for cows to be ‘milked out’ under supervision. Clipping to cease at
9pm and not start again until 6am. 15. Please bring own feed bins. 16. If any animal falls ill and is treated on site, the Exhibitor will be responsible to clean up. The area must
be cleaned up and disinfected immediately after use by the Exhibitor. 17. No animal shall compete in a Special Group Class unless it competes in one of the General Classes. 18. A Steward must be present during any administration of drugs to any animal.

19. Any cow or heifer in Dry Classes will be transferred to the ‘In Milk’ Classes should she calve between the date of entry and Judging day, and vice versa.
20. All cows in Dry Classes must be six (6) months in calf or dry (to be milked out on Judging morning if not completely dry).
21. No cattle will be admitted to grounds unless thoroughly tractable and must tie and lead. 22. Stewards have the right to refuse entry of any exhibit in any class. 23. Registration Certificate of all animals must be available if requested. 24. No dispute will be considered whilst event is in progress. Protests are to be lodged within one (1) hour
of completion of event and handed to the Administrator accompanied by a fee of $50.00. The Dispute Committee will consist of the following members: any three (3) members to act: R Zerner, T Moxey, S English, F Boyd, L Elliott, O Brown.
25. All cattle, when judged, must have a catalogue number attached. This also includes the Supreme Judging.
26. All cattle must be accompanied by a valid Waybill (latest edition NVD preferred). 27. Footwear must be worn by the leaders in the Grand Parade. 28. Judges have the right to order any cow competing for Championship to be milked out before final
awarding of prize. 29. Where there is only one exhibit, The Judge may award a second or third prize instead of a first prize, or
may withhold a prize altogether, at his/her discretion. 30. The Steward in charge will advise position to park. Showers available on grounds. All other vehicles to
be parked neatly on track. No camping on the inside of the race track. 31. Trucks must leave loading ramp immediately after unloading. At conclusion of the Show, cattle must
be tied near ramp, ready to load before trucks are backed to ramp. Please state registration number on the entry form.
32. No loud music after 9pm. 33. NO ALCOHOL IN THE SHOW RING 34. SUBSTITUTION – 3 ONLY PER EXHIBITOR AND ONLY IN THE SAME CLASS

QLD YOUNG JUDGES AND PARADERS COMPETITION YOUNG JUDGES: Under 15 years, 15 years to under 25 years YOUNG PARADERS: Under 15 years, 15 to 20 years, 20 to 25 years
1. Open to all competitors, male or female, who are under 25 as at 1st May of the current year. 2. All competitors to be resident of Queensland for at least a month or attending a College of the State. 3. No competitor can represent more than one (1) Show Society in any one Sub Chamber Final and no more than
one Sub Chamber in a State Final. 4. The winners of a National Final are ineligible for entry at any level. 5. The winner must declare if he/she has already won at another Show and which Show he/she will represent now. 6. The Hormel Slide is to be used at all Show, Zone, and State Finals (slide is available from the Chamber at a small
cost. It is recommended that all Sub Chambers purchase one). 7. Show to select 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. 8. Sub Chamber Final to consist of 1st and 2nd places with 3rd a reserve. 9. Only the winner of Sub Chamber is entitled to be represented at State Final. However, Sub Chamber should
select a runner up as a reserve in case there is a problem with the first attending. 10. A Show Winner is not eligible to win at other Shows. He/she may compete but should let the Steward know they
are already a winner. 11. There should be three (3) breeds of Stud and Dairy Cattle at Zone and State Finals. Optional at Local Show.
STATE FINALS The State Finals will be held at the Sunshine Coast Show on Sunday 9th June 2019 at 11am.
1. Winner of Sub Chamber Finals only to compete. 2. All finalists are to be introduced on the day, at start of competition. 3. All finalists allowed to speak on the day. 4. Four (4) cattle from three (3) breeds to be judged. 5. All finalists will be given a memento.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Camping is for season; from Wednesday 15th May until Saturday 18th May 2019; or any part thereof. 2. Should additional camping be required a charge of $15 per overnight stay will apply. 3. Camping permits will be sent to your email address upon allocation of a site and payment. 4. Receipt of this form and payment does not guarantee a camp will be made available. 5. Camping permits need to be displayed in a visible location on your camp. 6. Limited powered sites are available, and they are allocated on first in basis. 7. Onsite permanent showers and toilets are available for use and waste bins are provided for campers. Please
always keep them clean and tidy. Cleaners and bin managers will be on site. 8. A camp warden will check the camp grounds for camping permits. 9. Failure to meet any of these conditions could result in eviction from the Showground. 10. Camp areas must be left clean after the Show. 11. Cancellations must be received before 10th May 2019 – no refund will be considered after this date.
