The eco friendly campus is spread over 13 acres of land on the L&T bypass road of Coimbatore.

SIET is credited to be one of India's top eco friendly campuses by WWF. At SIET, classrooms and

lecture halls are provided with multimedia projectors and other technical equipment making

learning more absorbing, comprehensive, and fruitful. We, SIET, is strongly committed to

providing world class infrastructure of labs to meet our mission.

An air conditioned Central Library has rich collection of text and reference books, journals,

magazines, audio/video CDs, research reports, online journals, database analysis software,

etc. in all disciplines. The library is kept open till late night. The Institution auditorium

is centrally air-conditioned with a fully sound proof set up and sophisticated audio and visual

aids. A number of small digital auditoriums are also available. There is a dedicated video

conference room for webinars. Various online tools are installed to enable web based learning

24 x 7.

We provide the best nutritional, well balanced and hygienic vegetarian & non-vegetarian meals

to our students at our 500-seater dining hall, carefully prepared from naturally farmed healthy

ingredients & fresh meat with close supervision. We offer our students excellent hostel

environment, separately for boys and girls, with close supervision and mentorship of faculty

and wardens during study hours. Doctors and counselors visit the campus twice a week. We

offer free Wi-Fi access across the campus and hostel. Dedicated swimming pools are available

separately for girls and boys.

The Institution provides all necessary facilities and equipments to the students for maintaining

physical fitness and good health.

Housed in the Uni-Centre, the gymnasium is equipped with world class fitness equipments

from Cybex USA. There is an exclusive space for cardio and weight training along with steam and

sauna rooms.

SIET has a dedicated fleet of buses for ferrying all our students to the college from nearby

cities. We strongly discourage the use of own vehicles for the safety of students. The institution

has a dedicated team of professional security officers and personnel, deputed at all campus

locations. A network of CCTV Cameras installed at appropriate places for 24hr surveillance.

A Complete Student organized program to promote action oriented leadership in the society by

bringing together eminent visionaries from diverse fields and the rising young leaders of our

nation. The 2011 edition organized on 25th February,2011, at The Residency saw 19 speakers

and 350 delegates. The 2012 edition organized on 3rd March,2012., at The Le Meridien saw 30+

speakers and 650+ delegates.

We get around 1000 research papers every year and after the review by the experts in the

concerned field, about 150 papers are accepted for presentation and indexed in IEEE Xplore.

The papers were received from US, Canada, China, Iran, Africa, South Korea & Vietnam. More

than, 50% of the accepted papers are from premier higher education institutions such as IIT’s,

IIIT’s and NIT’s.

This program aims to provide an exposure to the hiring process in companies such as

Cognizant, Infosys, Microsoft, Oracle, TCS, Google, Yahoo and more. Delegates who were

employees / alumni from these companies participate in this event and indulge in discussions

with the students .

This program is organized to create a platform to understand young achievers from different

walks of life. Students from various institutions who achieved greater heights in the flagship

Industrial Challenges share their experience.

This annual event inspires young minds from different schools through themes such as District

Science Olympiad, State level science exhibition and interaction with Top Rank holders.
