For over 35 years Hima-Sella has been actively involved in thedesign and delivery of hundreds of control and safety systemsto the oil and gas industry. This includes onshore and offshoreapplications. Hima-Sella’s expertise encompasses a widerange of engineering disciplines, and provides bespokesolutions up to and including Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3. Theybring considerable experience in the supply of safety relatedsystems, including ESD, PSD and HIPPS, Burner Managementand Fire & Gas systems.

In 2001, Hima-Sella was awarded the first CASS certificate(number 00001) for Functional Safety Management, incompliance with IEC 61508 and has retained this certificate eversince. They continue to deliver cost effective and compliantsafety system solutions.

For topside and onshore HIPPS applications Hima-Sellaoffers the solid state Planar4 system. Based on well proventechnology of the Planar F system, the Planar4 systemdelivers solutions that are an ideal combination of maximumlevel of safety that can be achieved technically, absolutereliability and a minimum of lifecycle costs.

Hima-Sella offers alternative technologies which are availablefor Subsea applications using the unique HIMA HIMatrix PES,which is also SIL 3 rated.

For larger applications, the HIMA HIQuad SIL3 PES device maybe specified.
