Message From the Technical Program Committee Chairpersons
We welcome your participation in the 2014 SPE Latin American and Caribbean Petroleum Engineering Conference (LACPEC), to be held in Maracaibo, Venezuela, 21 23 May 2014.
Our theme for LACPEC 2014 is Strategic Opportunities in Latin AmericaConventional and Unconventional Oil and Gas Systems. It emphasizes the large resource base and potential for production and reserves growth in our regionparticularly for deepwater, mature and heavy oiland world-class potential in shale gas and liquids-rich petroleum systems.
The program committee invites you to submit your technical advancement, new method, case study, or practical application as a conference technical paper. Please submit your paper proposal online at www.spe.org/events/lacpec.
If your paper is selected, you will have the opportunity to present it to an audience of your peers at LACPEC 2014. The submission deadline is 10 September 2013. All abstracts should be written in English.
