The revolution in the provision of communicationtechnologies, services and applications is placingsevere pressure on service providers’ ability to deliverwhat customers value profitably, and to establish aviable long-term competitive business position.Marketing telecommunications services is no longerabout selling technology. Communic ations serviceproviders need to develop a very deep, multi-dimensional relationship with their current and futurecustomers and understand how the revolution in thewider communications environment is changingcustomers’ behaviour, value requirements andsatisfaction drivers.
