Its history started in 1930 and it is held every two years in different cities of the Russian Federation. The ICEPDS attracts scientists and researchers from all over Russia and abroad to share their research experience. Since 2016, the conference has been held in English language in order to further expand international scientific cooperation supported by the wider international scientific committee including technical support from the IEEE (Russia Section IE/PE/PEL/IA Joint Chapter). CONFERENCE TOPICS Topics include (but are not limited to): 1. Advances in Theory, Analysis and Design of Electric Drives; 2. Power Electronic Converters; 3. Control Systems for Power Electronics and Electric Drives; 4. Energy Management in Power Systems; 5. Applications of Electric Drives in Industry and Transportation; 6. Advanced Hardware, Software and Control of Electric Drives; 7. Manufacturing, Economics and Marketing of Electrical Drives; 8. Engineering Education and Training in Electrical Drives. VENUE The conference will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, at ITMO University. This institution is one of the Russiаn leading higher education and research universities, specializing in Information Technology, Optical Design and Engineering. Founded in 1900, today it is home to over 12,500 students and it has earned its name “National Research University,” blending innovation and discovery with world-class education. The International Conference on Electrical Power Drive Systems is one of the major events in the field

of Electric Drives in Russia. Its history started in 1930 and it is held every two years in different cities of

the Russian Federation.
