Rapidly Changing WeatherConditions Today Greenville/Spartanburg
• A cold front located from Kentucky through central Tennessee and Alabama willpush east through the region today and tonight.
• Various modes of High Impact Weather are in play today including:

Severe Thunderstorms
Locally Heavy RainDamaging Gradient Winds outside of thunderstorms
Rainfall of 1-2 inches are expected from northeast Georgia through the mountainsof western North Carolina. Elsewhere rainfall should be one inch or less. Locallyhigher amounts in thunderstorms.
Non thunderstorm wind gusts could reach around 50 mph in parts of the westernNorth Carolina mountains. Elsewhere winds gusts could reach 20 to 30 mph.
There should be a considerable uptick, by midday, concerning the aforementionedthreats.
