Our ChurchWentworthville is now a well-established parish within the young Diocese of Parramatta. � e Diocese is the fastest growing and � � h largest in the country. With more than eighty di� erent cultural backgrounds represented, Wentworthville is the most culturally diverse parish in the most culturally diverse Diocese in the world. It remains the only parish in New South Wales in the care of the Carmelite Friars, and is one of only three such parishes in Australia.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish has developed a master plan for the renewal of its spaces and facilities for community, spirituality, worship and mission. � is Church Renewal Process was initiated by the Liturgy Committee in response to the need to maintain and enhance the church building.
� is master plan will be implemented progressively as we continue to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the church, the 70th anniversary of the parish and 60th anniversary of Carmelite ministry in Wentworthville and beyond.

FundraisingAs the renewal of the church is undertaken, the restoration and replacement of various liturgical appointments has been considered. To ensure that the fruits of this renewal serve us for generations to come, there has been a commitment to ensuring high quality artwork and cra� smanship. Attention has been given to the selection and placement of sacred images.
