SCHOOL YEAR 2020-2021 KINDERGARTEN (FULL DAY) is a valuable program in the overall training of the child for daily living. It is also a period of preparation and readiness for school participation. The activity experiences are designed to help the child adjust socially, coordinate physically, grow spiritually, and prepare mentally for the first grade. The A Beka curriculum is used. Our program is taught by certified teachers. Classroom period is 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the beginning bell at 8:10 a.m. ELEMENTARY – HIGH SCHOOL (1-12) meets or exceeds the basic curriculum outlined by the Florida Department of Education, teaching the subjects necessary for the child’s training, integrating the Bible throughout. The aim of the curriculum is to develop the basic skills and lay a foundation for a Christian world and life view. All classes and subjects are taught by certified teachers. Classroom period is 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for grades 1-5, 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. for the secondary grades, with the beginning bell five minutes before the starting time. Application Fee (per student): $100 (non refundable) Registration Fee (per student): $250 (payable upon acceptance) Testing Fee (per student): $100 (if applicable) TUITION SCHEDULE* Tuition may be paid by one of the following plans: (1) By the year in advance - 2% discount will apply if paid prior to August 1, 2020) (2) By the semester in advance - July 1st and January 1st (3) Ten equal payments - August 2020 through May 2021 (4) Twelve equal payments - June 2020 through May 2021 *10% of the annual tuition is non-refundable if the student does not attend in the fall. We have partnered with Smart Tuition to offer convenience and access to your family’s account. Payments will be due in full the 1st or the 15th of the month. PAST DUE ACCOUNTS A late fee of $40 will be added to the family’s account after the scheduled due date. If an account is not paid within 60 days, the parents may be asked to withdraw their child(ren) from school. Payments not honored by the bank will incur a $30 insufficient funds fee. GENERAL INFORMATION When a child reenrolls in Keswick Christian School, a place is reserved for the entire school year. Parents are requested to make every effort to complete each semester before changes in schools or communities are made. When a change during the school year becomes unavoidable, tuition charges will be prorated. Report Cards and Transcripts are released to pupils, parents, or other schools only when the student’s account is paid up to date.
