JACKED UP“100% pure country music”

Band historyIn the short time that this group has been together, Jacked Up has already been recognized

as the new standard for hard hitting country rock in Central Ohio and the Mid-West. Energy,

dynamic vocals, edge, blues, driving rock and mountain soul are just a few of the words that

describe what this group has to offer. Jacked Up has shared the stage with country legends

such as Tracy Byrd and David Allen Coe, and are currently performing along side Nashville’s

hottest new artists like Chris Cagle, Craig Morgan and Danielle Peck.

Seven unique musical personalities have all come together to give Jacked Up a one-of-a-

kind fusion of sound and style, making them popular with both country fans and non-country

fans alike. Although they are based out of Columbus, Ohio, Jacked Up continues to attract

more fans everywhere they perform. Their voices, personalities, vibrant energy and solid

instrumentation have made this band a top act at every venue. The group is already planning

to collaborate on a debut CD release, tastefully merging these performance dynamics with

individual veteran song writing experience.

JACKED UP

Aaron WrightVocals, Guitars, Harmonica

At just 5 years old, Aaron began his music career early, starting

with the piano. As his interest in music grew, so did the list of

instruments under his belt. Aaron plays guitar, harmonica, drums,

bass, mandolin, and percussion. Aaron has studied under a number

of professional piano, bass, and drumming instructors and has been

recognized for many of his achievements in music. Aaron started

by founding the cover band Anonymous in 1994 and in 1996, co-

founded the band Moonshine; an original and cover act that went

on to perform at clubs, festivals, and parties throughout the State

of Ohio. In 1999, Aaron Chandler Wright formed The Chandler

Wright Story. The band grew into a regional touring act performing

at various venues throughout the Mid West for the better part of

seven years. Locally known as “that harmonica guy”, Aaron has

been captivating audiences in Central Ohio for over a decade with

band, duo, and solo performances. In 2007, Aaron co-founded the

hard-hitting country rock band Jacked Up and brings his unique

style and true country soul to every performance.

Kevin patric sweeneyVocals, Keyboards, Guitars

Kevin started playing piano at the age of three years old. He was

immediately taken with the sound and complexity of classical music.

Throughout his childhood, he studied under a number of professional

instructors and won many awards and received much recognition for

his performances. Although formerly trained as a classical pianist,

Kevin developed a passion for a diverse variety of musical styles.

As synthesizers became popular in the late 70’s and early 80’s,

he turned to instrumental recording and song writing, using the

technology to create experimental music using different tones, time

signatures and samples. Kevin’s love for funk and blues finally led

him to Columbus, Ohio in 1991 to pursue a career performing along

side seasoned musicians in the area. In 2000, Kevin decided to focus

his attention on song writing once again and co-founded the group

No Such Fate, releasing a debut CD which received great reviews.

Kevin also performed with Aaron in the Chandler Wright story prior

to joining forces to form the band Jacked Up.

MUSICIAN BIOGRAPHIES

deanna sweeneyVocals, Guitars

Deanna grew up in a musical family where weekends and holidays

would frequently result in a jam session. Many of her family roots

stem from southern Ohio and West Virginia and as a result, she

has always appreciated and been inspired by bluegrass and country.

As she embarked on her own career, she found herself branching

out and singing in clubs with jazz and rock groups. She formed a

band called “Kokomo Jo” that earned her a place among Central

Ohio’s most popular and recognized musicians. Since then, she

has never stopped thrilling audiences with her powerful and soulful

voice. Never wanting to be stereotyped as a folk singer, Deanna has

always performed with pure emotion, writing music and lyrics with

an edge that challenges the typical female “singer-songwriter” role.

Her performances often end with broken guitar strings and adoring

fans. She co-founded the group No Such Fate along with Kevin, and

now brings her passion and style to the forefront of Jacked Up.

the Chamber Music Connection and The Suzuki Violin School of

Worthington. Additionally she is the facilitator for Rhythm Tots Music

and Movement as well as her own Violin and Fiddle Studio. Alie has

performed with a number of groups ranging from classical to country

and has opened up for several national recording artists. She was the

driving force behind “Cowtown Coalition”, a country and bluegrass

band from Columbus, Ohio that gained considerable popularity and

recognition prior to her most recent collaboration with the members

of Jacked Up. Now, she brings her influence, skill and experience to

the next level as Jacked Up continues to gain momentum.
