The natural wonders of my region My region has a lot of beautiful places. A few of them will be described in this presentation. You can see here the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship many mysterious caves, rocky gorges and places which in Polish are named gołoborza lessowe. It is a pity but I do not know how it can be translated into English. In the framework of my region is 9 reserves and the Świętokrzyski National Park with unique, not only in the scale of our country, mysterious and beautiful woods which are referred to as The Land of Jodłowa. About Land of Jodłowa wrote Stefan Żeromski. As an interesting geological phenomenon can be treated the Pepper Mountains. The oldest trees in Poland - Bartek Oak persistently live in the center part of Świętokrzyskie Mountaons as a Guardian Soldier of Jodłowa. Near to Staszów, where I live every day, there is also a remarkable creation work for both the nature as well as the man working in salt mines in Wieliczka and Bochnia. These places are wonderful , unusual, stunning.
