As readers, we will jump into Oscar Wild’s text, The Selfish Giant that tells the story of how children warmed the heart of a lonely giant. As writers, we will paint vivid setting descriptions of the parks of Greenwich. As mathematicians, we will explore number and place value to deepen our knowledge. As scientists, we will investigate plants to find out what they need to live and grow. Designers, we will be designing and making our own plans for a child friendly park. As computer scientists we will be using emails to send and receive messages. As Geographers, we will be looking at our local area. We go on field trips to explore Greenwich. As theologists, we will be exploring Buddhism. We will be learning how the Buddha taught people to live.
