lives today. It will be held on Tuesdays at 10am and
7pm for one hour, downstairs. Books are available but

The St. Andrew’s Bell Choirs (both Senior and Travel Bells) will have new looks in 2016 and will “ring in the New Year” in different ways. Two (2) new musical pilot programs are designed to provide YOU with two (2)
different opportunities to gather and ring during each week:
1) A Monday Morning Bell Choir (9:15A-10:15A) is now being formed. This all-adult ringing group has no limit in the number of participants and is designed for both inexperienced and seasoned ringers. It is NOT the small “travel bell group,” that we’ve had in the past. The repertoire for this special group will be dependent upon the number of adults and their levels of ability. There will be seven (7) rehearsals before Palm Sunday (and Easter) beginning on February 1, 2016. (NOTE: If we’re good enough, we just might ring during Lent!)
2) A Thursday evening Family Bell Choir (7:00P-7:30P) is a new pilot program that will include younger ringers (4th grade and up) AND adults. This multi-generational church ringing group will have eight (8) rehearsals before Palm Sunday (and Easter) beginning on January 28, 2016. (NOTE: Hopefully, this choir will ring for Palm Sunday or Easter!)
Let's pray! There will be a prayer time in the Sanctuary every Sunday
at 8:45am- 9am and in the Prayer Room (ground level) at 10:30). Those
in need of healing are welcome to come and be prayed for. All are
welcome to come and take part in prayers for the church and worship
services as well.
Please put your Shoprite & Redner receipts in the red box
on the gift card table. St. Andrew's receives 1% cash back
Stop by our Gift Card table today in the Narthex to see how you
can help support our ministries.
Flowers for our Sanctuary and Zion hall each Sunday morning add to our worship service. They bring a little of the beauty of God’s work into our church and it is a way for us to remember special loved ones and occasions. The flower chart for 2015 is posted in the Narthex so please consider signing up to sponsor flowers.
Psalm 29 1 Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory
and strength. 2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory of his name; worship
the Lord in holy splendor. 3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders, the Lord, over mighty waters. 4 The voice
of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. 5 The
voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; the Lord breaks the cedars of
Lebanon. 6 He makes Lebanon skip like a calf, and Sirion like a
young wild ox. 7 The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire.8
The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the
wilderness of Kadesh. 9 The voice of the Lord causes the oaks to
whirl, and strips the forest bare; and in his temple all say, "Glory!" 10
The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord sits enthroned as
king forever. 11 May the Lord give strength to his people! May the
Lord bless his people with peace!
Luke 3:15-22 15 As the people were filled with expectation, and all were
questioning in their hearts concerning John, whether he might be the
Messiah, 16 John answered all of them by saying, "I baptize you with
water; but one who is more powerful than I is coming; I am not
worthy to untie the thong of his sandals. He will baptize you with the
Holy Spirit and fire.17 His winnowing fork is in his hand, to clear his
threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his granary; but the chaff
he will burn with unquenchable fire." 18 So, with many other
exhortations, he proclaimed the good news to the people. 19 But
Herod the ruler, who had been rebuked by him because of Herodias,
his brother's wife, and because of all the evil things that Herod had
done, 20 added to them all by shutting up John in prison. 21 Now
when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been
baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened, 22 and the Holy
Spirit descended upon him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice
came from heaven, "You are my Son, the Beloved; with you I am
well pleased."
