It’s been both challenging and encouraging as we looked at the results and identify what the Lord wants us as a leadership to focus on, so ensuring our church continues to grow in strength and maturity. Please pray for our Church Council as we meet on Saturday with Pastor Jack and together work through the survey results. We are prayerfully looking into short term and long term strategies to adres our areas of needed growth. We’ll also be highlighting the details of this survey in the weeks ahead both in our Newsletter (see p4) and in the Sunday services. “Brothers, do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.” 1 Corinthians 14:20 On Sunday Pastor Jack will be doing the preaching. He is a gifted speaker with a love for God and for seeing unsaved people come to know Jesus. I hope you can join us this Sunday to hear him preach. Come prepared to be challenged. School holidays start on Friday so our Kids Church program will rest for the holidays. Children will join us in the main service which is always a great time for families to sit together in church. Our Russia Mission Team has finally arrived at the Children's Summer Camp and will now start to run their programs of teaching the children about health & hygiene, Australian culture, human trafficking and the Bible/the Gospel. We all can - and should - be praying for our team and the work they are doing there. God bless you all. Pastor Joe

1 July ’18——————————————

Every week we will be highlighting a different result/aspect of the recent NCD church survey. Today’s list has 24 ‘themes’ of what comes more naturally to us and what comes less naturally for us as a church. It highlights the themes of vision, welcoming and nurturing as being areas where better strategies need to be developed - areas we want to grow in and do better. This broadly relates to the area of outreach and evangelism.
