Question: Was the Tanaka Memorial a forgery which led to World War II?

Elaboration: The Tanaka Memorial is allegedly a Japanese war planning document from 1927, in which Prime Minister Tanaka Giichi supposedly laid out for the Emperor of Japan Hirohito the strategy to take over the world. It is believed by most historians to be a forgery which was used to justify a long-term war against Japan.
