This year the choir is raising money for: “The Starlite Theatre Group” A recently formed Falmouth based theatre group which helps children between 6 and 16 with life skills. “Sasha Would’ve Loved It” Raising money for young people with cancer to have an experience or fun event. This gives them something to focus on and look forward to rather than thinking about their treatments. The proceeds from the Christmas Eve collection will be presented at a social evening on Saturday 14 th March at the Falmouth Watersports Centre from 7:30pm. Featuring a concert by the Oggymen, everyone welcome. Bar, refreshments and a raffle will be available.

Founded in 1900 as the Falmouth Docks Choir to raise money for the sick and unemployed

members of the Docks’ workforce at Christmas, these days it is made up of

members of Cornish male voice choirs and raises money for local charities.

They mostly sing carols by composers like Merritt and Warmington to keep the tradition

of singing locally produced carols alive.
