WELCOME TO UPCON-2019
The 6th "IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section International Conference on Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering (UPCON-2019)" is a reputed high level International Conference covering broad topics in the areas of Electrical, Computer and Electronics Engineering. UPCON2019 will be organized jointly by the Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (Uttar Pradesh), India. The Ohio State University, USA and National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Ministry of Power, Government of India are the joint organisers of the conference this year.
The past editions of UPCON have been organized at GCET, Greater Noida (2014), Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIITA), Allahabad (2015), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-BHU) Varanasi (2016) and GLA University (GLAU) Mathura (2017) and MMMUT Gorakhpur (2018).
This conference will provide an excellent platform to the researchers to present their research work. The conference is technically and financially sponsored by IEEE UP Section and known as the conference of IEEE UP section. Uttar Pradesh Section is one of the largest sections in Region 10 of IEEE, and is represented at the India Council. There are multiple tracks in the conference covering almost all areas of Electrical, Computer & Electronics Engineering.
The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is a distinguished University at the International level. It was founded by a great social reformer Sir Syed Ahmed Khan in the form of Mohammedan Anglo Oriental College (MAO) in 1875. Later on in 1920 it was raised to the status of a Central University by An act of Parliament.
The University has different faculties and more than hundred departments with about 25000 students. Over the years, the University has been providing quality education and research output.
The university has been playing an important role towards National solar mission in recent years. The university has largest installation of solar PV plants among the academic institutions in the country which includes a unique 3.3 MWp grid connected solar PV Farm also.
The Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET) was established in 1935, as a constituent college of the Aligarh Muslim University.The College's excellence was identified out of the 400 institutions across the country and was put in the list of seven selected Institutions to be upgraded to the level of IIT.
The ZHCET has 11 Departments of studies. Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Departments are offering B.Tech/B.E. (Evening)/M.Tech. and Ph.D. programs. Electronics, Computer, Chemical & Petroleum Studies are offering B.Tech/M.Tech. and Ph.D. programs. Department of Architecture is offering B.Arch. and M. Arch. programs
