We are no longer hiding behind our foliage! Yippee! CONNECTING THE DOTS ON DAVID: As noted in last week’s TidBits, the lectionary skips many parts of the story in I & II Samuel. This week we will hear II Samuel, 6:1-19. Should you wish to follow the story, between now and next week, please read II Samuel, 6:20-23. On Sundays, for the foreseeable future (except morning prayer Sundays), I will make myself available in the Sanctuary beginning at 9:15 should you have questions or wish to discuss the passages you have read. SUNDAY SCHOOL PARENTS MEETING On Wednesday July 15 at 7 pm all Sunday school parents are invited to attend a short meeting/discussion in the Sanctuary. We want your input and ideas. Please RSVP Barbara Clark at 669-2384. CONVENTION DELEGATES NEEDED: Delegates needed for the 2015 Convention of the Diocese of Maine. Due to our growth as a parish, we now may have three (instead of two) delegates to the annual convention. At our annual meeting in February, we elected two delegates and one alternate…unaware that we would need three delegates and one alternate. Unfortunately one of our originally elected delegates is unable to attend the convention. We now need one additional delegate and an alternate. Interested in being a delegate? Interested in learning how the Episcopal Church functions (or occasionally doesn’t)? Do you have questions? Please call me, Dave Wells, at 667-6206. PRAYER REQUESTS: As requested, Prayer Request Cards are now on hooks in the pews, as well as on the table at the back of the nave. ALTAR FLOWERS: Have a special event, birthday, anniversary or graduation you wish to mark? The Altar Flower sign-up sheet is located on the table in the Narthex.
